“Christ Church C of E Primary School is a vibrant, stimulating and caring educational community which exists to celebrate the uniqueness of every person, made as they are in the image and likeness of God”
Everything we do at Christ Church is carried out within the context of a loving Christian family. We aim to offer a happy and safe environment where your child is motivated to learn; where they enjoy social contact, make friends and develop their skills in a supportive and structured environment. We believe that everyone is unique and has their own talent and their own special skill and as such, everyone should have the opportunity to develop and flourish. Our aim is to ensure that every child experiences happiness and success during his or her school career and has opportunities to learn new skills in a caring, Christian family. Rooted within all that we do, are our central Christian values, taken from Paul’s letter to the Galatians, and our belief that God’s Spirit works through us all for the betterment of ourselves, each other and our wonderfully made world.
At Carnforth Christ Church, we are dedicated to creating an environment where every child is nurtured to grow in mind, body, and spirit. Our vision is rooted in the belief that we are called to live and learn in ways that reflect the values of love, joy, peace, kindness, and other Fruit of the Spirit. By cultivating these qualities, we empower our children to live purposefully and thrive in a community that is built on faith, respect, and compassion.
We strive to be a place where students “Love , Learn , Laugh , and Grow, Fruitfully.” This vision is inspired by the biblical concept of the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), which guides our approach to education. We believe that by embracing these virtues—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—our students will bear rich and lasting fruit in every aspect of their lives.
We cultivate an environment where love is the cornerstone of all relationships. By modeling the love of Christ, we encourage students to demonstrate kindness, empathy, and respect toward one another. We believe that when love is at the center, every student can grow and thrive in a supportive and nurturing community. We are committed to academic excellence and fostering a love for lifelong learning. By encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep respect for knowledge, we aim to help our children develop wisdom and understanding. Our goal is to equip them with the tools to make a positive impact in the world around them. We celebrate joy and the importance of laughter in the learning process. We believe that laughter nourishes the spirit, fosters creativity, and strengthens relationships. By creating an atmosphere of joy, we encourage our children and staff to approach challenges with a positive attitude and a heart full of gratitude. Growth is not just about academic achievement, but also about developing character and resilience. We encourage our children to embody the virtues of the Fruit of the Spirit, including patience, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. By nurturing these qualities, we guide our students toward personal growth and the development of their unique gifts.
At Carnforth Christ Church, we believe that when students embrace these values, they will grow in wisdom, love, and grace. As they Love, Learn, Laugh, and Grow, Fruitfully, they will bear the lasting and beautiful Fruit of the Spirit, making a positive difference in the world and reflecting the love of Christ in all that they do.
“At Carnforth Christ Church, we believe that God is with us as our guide; ‘we know it by the Spirit He gave us’ (1 John 3:24) and ‘the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, against such things there is no law.’ (Galatians 5: 22-23) We live by the Spirit, for the Spirit and with the Spirit – this is our central ethos.
At Christ Church, our core values are The Fruit of the Spirit, which are spoken about by Paul, in his letter to the Galatians. (Galatians 5:22-23)
We recognise and encourage our children to ‘live fruitfully’ by showing the values of Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control. These values are central to school life and we recognise and celebrate children who show these key values.
