Parents

At Carnforth Christ Church, our partnership with parents is a strength.

We have effective relationships with parents and have developed good home-school links to benefit our children. We operate an ‘Open Door’ policy and parents are always welcome into school to discuss their child’s progress or speak to us about any concerns they may be having.

If you would like to speak to a member of staff, you can catch them in the playground in the morning or afternoon. Alternatively, you can book a more formal appointment via the School Office.

Parental Questionnaire

Each year we ask pupils and parents to complete a questionnaire to help us listen to the views and opinions of our school family. We are very proud of our achievements and the support our parents give to us. However, there are times where concerns or issues need to be raised and we will always take your views seriously.

Our most recent parental questionnaire was undertaken in November 2018 with a return rate of 46%. Our parents have been extremely positive about our school, with the following questions being answered 100% positively from all parents who returned the questionnaire:

My child is safe and well cared for.
The school has an effective system for rewarding good behaviour and work.
I am happy with the religious aspect of school life which the school offers.
I would recommend this school to a friend.
